You may receive your order sooner or later depending on these factors as well as the ship to location of the order. Generally, our processing time is between 24 to 48 hours, but it varies by product and product line. To check on an exact processing plus shipping time, please feel free to call our customer service department and they can provide that to you over the phone. Once your order has shipped, any address updates will need to be made directly with our customer service department. Charges to reroute any deliveries will be at the customer's expense.

Freight/Oversize Shipments
Freight/LTL shipping quotes are calculated based on delivery to commercial addresses. This means that the property must be commercially zoned and have official business hours of operations. If you do not have a business address and you have already purchased a Freight or Oversized item then we will contact you with an updated shipping charge that must be paid for delivery. If you have not purchased yet and would like a shipping quote to a non commercial address, we are more than happy to help!
When a Freight shipment arrives do not sign the delivery receipt before you have fully inspected the package and have marked down the exceptions and damages on the receipt if they apply. If a Freight shipment does arrive and is damaged, we can not help you if you did not sign for it as damaged and clearly note it on the delivery receipt.
Upon delivery of the shipment, if you do not have the ability and/or equipment to unload your product the freight carrier may ask if you would like to have them unload the product with a lift gate or other methods. Any additional services requested such as this may incur an additional fee charged to the customer by the freight carrier and Advanced Truck Parts is not responsible for such charges. The decision to accept these charges lies solely with the delivery recipient.
Free Shipping Promotions
All Free Shipping items will ship either USPS or UPS and will have a 3 to 7 day transit time. For any products or promo codes that offer Free Shipping on orders or individual parts, the Free Shipping only applies to the contiguous 48 United States. For all other ship to locations, an accurate shipping quote must be calculated and paid. Free Shipping also does not apply to oversized or freight items unless specifically stated and a commercial zone address is required.
Canada Shipments
Applicable for Ground Shipments Only - Canada Customs requires Canadian recipients to pay applicable duties and taxes on each shipment entering Canada. These charges may include POST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods. A brokerage fee may also be charged to process shipments and present the requisite customs paperwork to Canada Customs on the importer's behalf. In some cases, orders may be sent in multiple shipments and can incur additional brokerage charges imposed by Canada Customs. The customer is responsible for brokerage fees, POST, GST, HST, duties and other taxes of goods that are imposed by shipping companies or Canada Customs. In the event the customer refuses to pay those fees, Advanced Truck Parts may be forced to abandon the product at the Canadian border. In that case, the customer will receive no refund back because the product will be lost. *Note - No additional taxes or duties are due for Freight/LTL shipments
International Shipments
At Advanced Truck Parts we are proud to provide international shipping! We have a very experienced team of people here to help our international customers receive their parts quickly and at very affordable rates!
If you are trying to place an order and our website says that we can not ship to your location please contact us at john@advancedtruckparts.com so that we can give you a custom shipping quote. Once you contact us at john@advancedtruckparts.com we will respond quickly with an accurate shipping quote as long as you provide a full physical address with postal code. In some cases our website may quote and charge you the wrong amount for shipping and if this occurs you will be contacted for additional payment. While we do our best to have our website calculate accurate shipping quotes, in dealing with international shipments this is difficult and sometimes our team has to calculate the correct shipping rate manually.
International customers are responsible for any duties, taxes, custom charges or currency exchange fees that their shipment may incur during transit. In the case of a shipment being refused, all transit charges will be deducted from the customer’s refund.
Damaged Shipments
In the event your product is damaged in transit please contact us at 1-877-795-0656 immediately. All damages must be reported within 24-48 hours of receiving your package. If a shipment arrives at your doorstep and is clearly damaged make sure to take pictures as these will help expedite the return process. All warranty claims and damaged items claims need to be handled through Advanced Truck Parts. Do not contact the manufacturer of the product directly as they will not be able to assist you in receiving a new item. Please do not attempt to install the part as this will void any replacement options or claims.
Refused Shipments
You reserve the right to refuse a shipment should you change your mind and decide to return the product. Please contact us ahead of time if you plan to do this so we can set up the appropriate return information in the system. If a shipment is refused upon delivery, then Advanced Truck Parts will deduct the cost of the return shipping from your refund in addition to the initial shipping charge. If the item is damaged upon arrival or defective then we will take full responsibility for the cost of shipping.
Shipping
We are now shipping internationally! All shipping rates will be calculated, and thus, will vary depending on the shipping location. All shipping rates are calculated based the cost of both the shipping and handling required to send your item.
Once you have placed your order by purchasing an item, it generally takes 1 to 3 business days to process your transaction and get your product on its way to you. The package then spends another 3 to 10 days in transit (or possibly longer in international shipping situations). Thus, you can expect your order to be delivered between 4 to 14 days from when we receive payment for your item.

Purpose
PACCAR’s MX series engines (e.g. the MX-13 used in Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks) employ advanced fuel injectors to achieve high performance and meet strict emissions. The MX engines (largely developed by DAF, PACCAR’s European subsidiary) use a high-pressure common rail fuel system. Uniquely, the MX-13 incorporates unit pump injectors feeding a common rail: fuel is pressurized by separate pump units then accumulated in a rail, from which electronically controlled injectors take the fuel. This design supports injection pressures up to about 2,500 bar (36,000 psi). The injectors themselves are solenoid-valve controlled (later models may use smart Delphi injectors) and can perform multiple injections (pilot, main, post) per engine cycle. The purpose of these injectors is to precisely meter fuel for the MX engine’s lean-burn strategy – by delivering finely atomized fuel in several small bursts, they create a cleaner burn, improve fuel economy, and reduce soot/NOx. The injectors also adapt to duty cycle demands; for instance, during cruising they can minimize fuel per injection for efficiency, or deliver a quick double-shot for torque during acceleration. In summary, PACCAR injectors are engineered to provide the exact fuel quantity and timing needed for the engine to produce strong, efficient power with minimal emissions, keeping trucks reliable on long hauls.
Common Failure Signs
When PACCAR MX injectors malfunction, drivers and technicians may observe several signs.
One common symptom is hard starting or extended crank – if an injector is leaking fuel or not holding rail pressure, the engine may struggle to build sufficient fuel pressure for ignition (the ECU may even log a low rail pressure (P0087) code in such cases).
The engine might also exhibit a rough idle or stumble, especially when cold, due to one cylinder under-fueling.
Loss of power and reduced fuel economy are expected if injectors aren’t delivering correctly – a truck might feel sluggish climbing grades that were previously easy.
The exhaust may show excess smoke: black smoke under load signals an injector possibly over-fueling or with a poor spray pattern, while white smoke could indicate a dribbling injector dumping unburnt fuel (more evident at startup or idle).
The MX engines monitor performance closely; a failing injector can trigger diagnostic alerts – for example, cylinder imbalance codes or high fuel correction values.
Installation Notes
Replacing injectors on a PACCAR MX engine requires careful steps to maintain the high-pressure system’s integrity. First, depressurize the fuel rail using the service tool or by letting the engine sit (and manually relieving pressure at the rail if a test port is available) – 2,500 bar can be dangerous. Remove the valve cover and high-pressure fuel lines; always use new high-pressure lines on reassembly to ensure crush seals are fresh and reliable under extreme pressure. Before installing new injectors, clean the injector bore and remove any carbon or debris from the sleeve. Install each injector with a new copper sealing washer at the tip and new O-rings as required; lubricate the O-rings with clean fuel. Torque the injector hold-down clamp bolts in the proper sequence and to the specified torque (varies, e.g. ~60 in·lb plus angle, as per PACCAR manual) so that the injector seats evenly. When connecting the new high-pressure lines from the rail to injectors, tighten them to spec (often on the order of 30–40 Nm) and support the line with a backup wrench on the injector fitting to avoid strain. PACCAR MX injectors are calibrated from the factory; however, verify if there is a trim code on the injector – some service procedures call for recording injector serials or codes, but generally the MX’s ECU adapts fueling via its sensors. After installation, use the DAVIE diagnostic tool (or OEM software) to run an injector leak test and cylinder balance test. It’s also good practice to perform an adaptive reset or relearn for the fuel system if the ECU supports it, ensuring it recalibrates to the new injectors. Finally, prime the fuel system thoroughly using the hand primer on the filter housing (PACCAR specifies ~150 pumps to refill filters and purge air) before attempting to start. Upon first start, let the engine idle and check for any fuel leaks at the injector feed lines, and listen for smooth running. With everything properly installed, the MX engine should start easier, run smoother, and regain its full power, confirming a successful injector replacement.
